Mathematics and cognitive abilities part 2: links between cognitive abilities and math (in light of chc theory).

The 2nd of a three part presentation series about math and cognitive abilities is here.

In this part we'll try to see the influence of cognitive abilities on math.  The presentation contains ideas for interventions when there are math difficulties resulting from various poor cognitive abilities.

This presentation will appear from now on in the right hand column of this blog, under "Cognitive abilities and math".

Part 1 of the series that deals with the development of arithmetic skills, is also found in the right hand column of this blog, under "Cognitive abilities and math".  I enclose it here too.

Part 3 is going to be about learning disabilities manifested in math and about dyscalculia.  This may take me a while to publish.
