The WISC5 is coming! (in the fall)
It has 5 indexes:
Verbal comprehension (similarities, vocabulary, information,
comprehension)
Visual spatial (2 tests, one of them is block design)
Fluid reasoning (4 tests: matrix
reasoning, picture concepts, arithmetic and a new test)
Working memory (picture span, digit span, letter number sequencing)
Processing speed (coding, symbol search, cancellation)
In addition, there are 2 tests measuring long term storage and
retrieval, but strangely they do not form an index
of Glr. One of them is a RAN test and the other tests
associative visual – auditory memory.
