בנספח שלו, מציג דן מילר בקיצור נמרץ את מודל ה – SNP להערכה נוירו פסיכולוגית. זהו מודל היררכי בו קיימים שבעה תחומי תפקוד
רחבים. בכל תחום רחב קיימים תת תחומי
תפקוד. המודל מבוסס על מודל CROSS BATTERY ASSESSMENT של FLANAGAN, CHC, מודל LURIA, גישה תהליכית
להערכה של MILBERG,
HEBBEN AND KAPLAN, ותאוריות נוירו פסיכולוגיות.
מילר ועמיתיו סיווגו מבחנים קוגניטיבים שונים לתוך מודל ה – SNP על פי נתונים שפורסמו על ידי מחברי המבחנים על
מתאמים וניתוחי גורמים של המבחנים. כאשר
לא היו נתונים כאלה, המבחנים סווגו לתוך מודל ה – SNP לפי מה שמחברי המבחן אמרו שהוא מודד. הדבר היפה במודל הזה הוא שבכל תחום נכללים
מבחנים שבודקים את הביצוע של הילד באופנויות מגוונות (חזותי, שמיעתי, מוטורי).
